YouthBuild Sierra Leone, a non-profit organization, addresses the challenges faced by marginalized youth in Sierra Leone. Focused on skill development and social empowerment, we aim to reduce poverty and achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Operating in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Our mission is to create a self-reliant, informed, and empowered community. Through various activities, including skills training, community outreach, apprenticeship, and education support, we strive to build a sustainable future for vulnerable youth and contribute to national development.

The CURRICULUM
Who We Serve:
YouthBuild Sierra Leone serves disadvantaged out-of-school youth nationwide in Sierra Leone. These youths typically lack access to formal education and face socio-economic challenges. The organization focuses on providing technical training, coaching, counseling, and apprenticeship opportunities to empower them with employable skills and leadership abilities.
OUR SERVICES
What We do:
YouthBuild Sierra Leone provides a range of services to empower disadvantaged youth:
1. Apprenticeship Placement: Facilitating opportunities for out-of-school youths nationwide to gain practical skills through apprenticeship programs.
2. Remedial Education: Offering classes in basic language skills, math, community leadership, and enterprise skills development to enhance the educational foundation of participants.
3. Leadership and Counseling: Providing coaching and mentoring to selected youths, either by demand or through identification, to develop their leadership potential and address personal challenges.
4. Philanthropic Support: Operating as an independent organization reliant on funding and donations from philanthropic bodies and individuals to sustain its activities and contribute to the development of human capital in Sierra Leone.
